How much are you insured for?

We have public liability insurance of £10 million as well as a policy for fidelity & loss of keys – with no claims to date!

What are your working hours?

Our office cleaning service hours are 24 hours a day, 365 days per year. Our own office hours are 9-5.00pm Mondays to Fridays, but all clients are given 24 hour emergency mobile contact numbers.

If there is an emergency outside office hours how do we contact you?
All our clients are provided with a cascade list of emergency contacts who are available 24/7 every day of the year.

What areas do you cover?
We provide cleaning services to offices and buildings in the West End and City of London and the home counties.

What is your staff turnover?
The office cleaning industry is inherently one with a low staff retention rate, but at Xenon we have an excellent track record for retaining staff longer than the norm because we communicate closely, train and motivate them to do well.

Are your staff vetted and security cleared?
We are registered with an umbrella CRB agency and can easily provide enhanced CRB checking. Our standard employment procedure is very stringent and beyond that required by law (see Recruitment).

Do you pay the minimum wage and/or by cash?
In order to attract and retain high calibre staff it is important to pay a realistic wage. We prefer not to pay the minimum wage as we believe that this will produce a more transient workforce. In order to prevent any abuse by casual labour of the remuneration system we only pay our employees via the BACS system directly into their bank or building society account.

Do your cleaning products harm the environment?
Xenon Services is committed to looking after the environment and our core cleaning products are 100 per cent biodegradable and environmentally-friendly carrying the European eco-label (See Environment).

What’s covered in the price you quote?
The price quoted will vary according to the requirements of the client. Typically our charges include labour costs, employer’s National Insurance, holiday pay, insurance, management, training, all necessary equipment and the environmentally friendly cleaning materials required to carry out the cleaning operation.
